Description

NeoDiet™ application focuses on nutritional management in neonatology and paediatrics. It enables both enteral and parenteral nutrition calculation, as well as preparation of individual infusion therapy for patients. Apart from the core functionality, NeoDiet™ offers also calculations for metabolic bone disease, enteral osmolarity, metabolic acidosis correction, heparin dosing, insulin dosing and glucose infusion rate.

The application enables users to create, edit, save, export and delete patients with their respective nutrients and infusion therapy settings, so they can be recalled at any time. Besides patients, users can also adjust the nutrients – create, update and edit new nutrients that are used in neonatal and paediatric nutrition.

NeoDiet™ has been featured in a recent publication by JPGN Reports, the official journal of The European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (ESPGHAN). This inclusion underscores the tool’s importance in enabling healthcare professionals to accurately determine the nutritional needs of patients, develop customized parenteral nutrition regimens, and oversee the effectiveness and safety of these nutritional strategies. Through the utilization of advanced data analytics, NeoDiet™ plays an essential role in enhancing nutritional management outcomes and minimizing the potential complications associated with parenteral nutrition.

NeoDiet™ software is an interactive, graphical frontend, computer-aided nutrition calculation program that runs locally under Windows OS (10 and 11). The application is licensed for 1 computer. The data (patients, nutrients, databases) can be transferred across computers in order to utilize them on other systems where NeoDiet™ is installed.
